Question: Who Provides Cleaning Equipment/Supplies?
Answer: This is a matter of preference that may vary from one home to another. We have a complete line of cleaning supplies and equipment necessary to accomplish the job well, however, some clients may wish us to use a specific brand of cleaner which they may supply or they may wish us to use the vacuum they already have in the home. Answer: The time it takes to clean a home will vary based on the size and condition of the area to be cleaned, and the complexity of the area i.e. number and size of rooms, especially laundry rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Back To Top
Question: How Often Should I have my Lansing Area Home Cleaned?
Answer: Most typically, clients will have their home cleaned weekly or bi-weekly. If your home experiences moderate to heavy day-to-day traffic, we recommend a weekly cleaning service. If your home experiences light traffic, a bi-weekly cleaning service may be sufficient. Additionally, for those who are interested light cleaning on a daily basis, we offer daily cleaning as well. Question: What is Included in a “Typical” Cleaning?
Answer: While each cleaning can be customized to the clients exact needs, a typical cleaning would consist of dusting, moping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces and door knobs, disinfecting kitchen and bathroom counter tops and fixtures, scrubbing toilets, sinks, showers, and bath tubs to list a few. Question: Do I need to be Present When you are Cleaning?
Answer: This is a question we often hear from new clients. In general we try to clean while the client is out of the home when possible. This usually speeds things up for us considerably, and for the client, being present during the cleaning would negate the benefit of extra time the client would usually gain from hiring a Lansing area cleaning service. Most of our clients give us a key to gain entry to the home while they are away while others will leave the key in a safe place and let us know where to find it. Back To Top
Question: Will you Clean in High Places?
Answer: In most cases we can clean nearly any place in your home. There are exceptions on rare occasion where we cannot reach certain areas such as exceptionally high fixtures in stairways or high vaulted ceilings. The general rule that we follow is that we will use a standard step ladder and our extension tools to reach high places. If we are unable to reach an area by these means, these are areas we won’t be able to clean. Back To Top
Question: What if it Takes More/Less Time to Clean my home than Expected?
Answer: Clients are often surprised to find that some visits may run long, while others may end short. This is usually because of “Rotational” (tasks that are only necessary occasionally and not on every visit) tasks that we do in addition to standard services each visit but can also be caused by a difference in the condition of the home from one visit to another. If your home takes less time to clean one visit than planned, we will generally do additional cleaning tasks usually considered to be part of our “Deep Cleaning” or “Rotational” services. If the your home is taking longer than expected on a particular visit, we may contact you to inform you, and upon request may stay longer to finish everything or we may add those tasks to the next scheduled clean. Question:What do I do if I Feel that Something was Missed During Cleaning?
Answer: If after we have cleaned your home, you feel there is something that we missed, please contact us at your earliest convenience to let us know. We will address the issue as quickly as possible, usually returning to the home at a mutually agreed soonest available time to complete any missed task. Back To Top
Question: Will you Clean my Home at the Same Time Each Visit?
Answer: Your cleaning schedule will be based on an agreed upon time slot (eg. 11:00 am to 4:00 am), however we may not always be able to arrive at exactly the same time each visit due to conditions out of our control such as traffic, or circumstances that arise the home we clean prior to yours. We may need to arrive slightly early or late due to these conditions. If we realize that we will arrive at your home more than 30 minutes earlier or later than expected we will attempt to contact to make you aware. Question: What do I Need to do to Prepare for my Scheduled Service?
Answer: We ask that our clients safely store any fragile or sensitive items they may be concerned with prior to our arrival. Also, if you have any special notes or requests, we ask that you write them in the comments section of your cleaning binder, leave the binder with payment in an accessible place. Also please ensure we have access to any areas that need to be cleaned. If we are unable to access an area that we expect to clean, we will attempt to contact you for assistance. Back To Top
